REQUESTS

#1. Retrieve 2 sets of cat ears -- boldly accepted by completed 12/16 by Minato Arisato and Elizabeth ;; also accepted by Cave Johnson???

I have heard that when... certain actions are undertaken, residents of this world lose their ears and their tails. I would like to see what happens to these... appendages, when shed.

#2. I would like to try the substance know as coffee -- completed 12/15 by Minato Arisato

Although undoubtedly I could visit a place that serves such a beverage on my own, it seems more... appealing to be in the company of another.

#3. I would like to visit the karaoke bar -- accepted by KAITO

Although singing alone can be delightful, I would like to join voices with others and learn more about the sorts of music played at such events.

#4. Teach me card games -- accepted by Sonia, Haine Otomiya and the Elrics(?)

I have obtained a deck of cards from the game store and wish to learn the ways with which people amuse themselves.

Character Information
Name: Elizabeth
Canon: Person 3: FES
Canon Point: Post The Journey.
Age: ??? ... she looks like she's in her 20s, but who even knows?
Gender: F
History: Wiki on her.

One important note is that, because of the mentions Elizabeth gets from Margaret in Persona 4, I take the idea that Elizabeth offered request #55 and Minato took her up on it to be canon. Gage is okay with this.

Personality:
Elizabeth is perhaps best known for her whimsical nature and her avid curiosity about the world outside of the Velvet Room. Many of her requests revolve around acquiring new things for her to see, and several involve taking her outside to show her new places. While she frequently misunderstands things, she nonetheless is enthusiastic in her exploration and eager to at least see many novel things, even if she is cautious about potential dangers. Granted, some of the things she sees as dangers are the aforementioned misunderstandings, such as her thinking video game devices have a mysterious power to make the user forget about the passage of time. But even so, Elizabeth is careful in her own way.

She seems to be of a generally even temperament, usually calm and cheerful. Moreover, she is confident in her abilities and knowledge of more supernatural things, and she is not without self control. She knows when to draw the line, for example, in her visits to the outside world, to keep herself from further temptation away from her duties. She is, after all, quite responsible in undertaking her duties without fail. Like Igor, she is always present and ready to attend to the Compendium, which seems to be her primary responsibility, at least insofar as can be seen by the player.

However, Elizabeth is not without her doubts and failings. She seems to have a general knowledge of things in the outside world, as if she had heard about them second-hand or read about them, but she lacks full contextual understanding of various metaphors and of what is either in or out of place in given situations. She also has moments of uncertainty and shyness, such as after she humorously quizzes Minato’s home room on whether Diet Food or Super Diet Food is more delicious. Afterwards, she feels uncomfortable with so many eyes upon her and urges Minato to show her other parts of the school. Moreover, she seems to be lacking in deep knowledge about the complexities of emotions, in part simply because she has not before experienced many of them. It is only with getting to know Minato, for example, that she begins to experience and understand love and attachment. Indeed, she is on a journey of self-discovery as well, taking the time to think deeply and learn about herself.

And it is just as she’s beginning to decide what she wants to do with herself, after seeing Minato’s social bonds create The Universe and seeing what he does with it, that I pull her out of her world and into Gora. I might have been inclined to pull her later, once she actually leaves the Velvet Room, but I haven’t played all of The Answer, yet, nor have I watched an LP, so I don’t want to risk missing something important from her interactions with Aigis there. … besides, it’s probably just easier if everyone ignores The Answer for now, anyway. |D

Abilities Information
Fighter or Sacrifice?: Sacrifice. I was really quite torn about this for some time, because she could easily fulfill either route. However, in the end, Sacrifice seems most apt because although she fulfills a primarily subordinate role as an assistant to Igor and thus ultimately to the MC, at the same time she also issues the MC requests in exchange for rewards. Although she does not directly control him, she certainly is capable of directing him in other ways. It is she who determines what happens and where it happens on their dates, for example, and it is she who dictates the manner in which their fight takes place. Moreover, after she fights and is defeated by Minato, she realizes, “Only I can decide who I am.” And it is at this point that she decides that she is her own master and can dictate her own fate and consequently leaves behind that which before would have made her a good Fighter candidate.

Canon abilities:
> She can detect the secret ingredient of Weird Takoyaki by scent alone. This implies that she both has (at the very least) a heightened sense of smell and a broad knowledge of strange things.
> She can kick all sorts of ass with her set of personas. Especially that goddamn Pixie. A list of her specific personas and their information can be found on the same page as her wiki.
> She can also do a fair amount of damage whacking you in the face with her book or slashing you with a card. She clearly must be very strong. Also, she takes two turns for every one of yours.
> Bottomless stomach
> Saying everything in a seductive voice.
> Elizabeth appears to have some awareness of things beyond merely what she can see with her own eyes. For example, she seems very much aware of whatever persona someone has active in his or her head, given her reaction of spamming Megidolaon when you break one of her unspoken rules in battle and given that she comments on the protagonist having Mara as his (or her, if it’s P3P and you’ve chosen Elizabeth) active persona. Moreover, Elizabeth seems to have an uncanny knowledge of Tartarus and what’s going on in the tower, as she is the one who informs you of a barrier disappearing (or someone being trapped within, in P3P) and many of her requests call for you to either kill something or find something within Tartarus, and she is often able to tell you which floors in particular the item or monster should be found on.
> Endless money.
> As the keeper of the Compendium and the one with whom you, therefore, register your personas, she seems to have a vast knowledge of what they are and how they work.

Name: Elevatorless Limitless
Although she places very strict limits on you when you battle her, she has no such constraints. Indeed, she even defies a normal rule of battle by having two turns per round. Moreover, her Pixie is also a hack something special and beyond normal specifications. Even outside of battle, Elizabeth does not seem bound by any rules or normal conventions, save her own feelings on a given matter. And she ultimately does decide, after all, to leave her boundaries – leave the Velvet Room – and pursue the seemingly impossible goal of freeing Minato from the seal.

Zero Candidate?: No.

First Person:
Oh my~. This is... what one calls a computer, is it not? Quite a remarkable box. I have heard many tales about such magical devices, but this is my first experience actually using one. I've heard that many educational articles may be found lurking within its tangled web.

[ . . . ]

But then again... I have also heard that many dark pits also lie in wait for the unwary. Dangerous diseases and swiftly multiplying wriggling worms!

[ . . . ]

Maybe I should avoid taking such a -- dubious risk until I have become better informed...

Third Person:

Elizabeth often found herself drawn to the mall after the day’s institutional education was completed. Although it was a much less elaborate place than the Paulownia Mall had been, lacking in fountains and the high vaulted ceiling, she still found something about it pleasantly familiar. Moreover, in its myriad stores, she constantly found curious new articles to examine, and in its varied eateries, there seemed to ever be something novel she had yet to sample.

However, there were times when the delights of the popular location failed to energize her, and she found herself finding the most comfort in long, solitary walks through the quieter areas of their new abode. There was much more to this Outside World she was now a part of than mere trinkets, and she found navigating the turbulent waters of daily social interaction to be both fascinating and dizzying. Although she had both read about and heard described many of the rituals of ordinary human life and companionship, it was quite another thing to experience them all first hand. She found the process strangely exhausting.

Wandering alone, meanwhile, or sitting quietly in the library seemed the only cures for this – she could only call it mental exhaustion, for there was nothing corporeal about it. It gave her time to reflect and collect her thoughts in ways she had no chance to when attending to academics or to social obligations. But as she meandered, sometimes, she wondered if this exhaustion was merely a feature unique to her personal nature or if it were something others also endured in their daily travails. Was it, perhaps, simply that she had not yet grown accustomed to the hustle and bustle of mundane life? Perhaps she was too used to the soft quiet of the Velvet Room, with only her Master, her siblings and their occasional guests for company…

It was hard to be sure, but gradually she made up her mind to ask – though whether to offer a general poll across the computer network or to simply ask one whose knowledge she trusted, she wasn’t sure.

Anything Else? ... she's probably going to issue requests to everyone. >_>;
